Requirements
- 18 months+ of relevant software engineering experience building and operating customer-facing production systems.
- Experience developing features across backend services, APIs, and modern web applications.
- Ability to independently own moderately complex projects with strong execution.
- Experience writing clean, efficient, maintainable code and conducting peer code reviews.
- Proficiency in making technical tradeoffs regarding performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience using metrics, logs, and testing to debug issues and validate releases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in AI-native development, including LLMs and workflow automation.
- Growth mindset with strong product intuition.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver well-scoped customer-facing features and platform capabilities from design through production.
- Build reliable services, APIs, and web experiences while improving existing systems.
- Contribute to AI-powered workflows using modern LLM tooling, including evaluation and iteration.
- Make thoughtful technical tradeoffs across speed, maintainability, scalability, and customer impact.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Design, ML, and platform teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
