Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- At least 5 years of construction recruiting experience.
- Strong understanding of construction-related roles including project management and field operations.
- Proven success recruiting experienced professionals for travel-based and project-oriented positions.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes from sourcing through onboarding.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Proficiency with recruitment reporting tools and technology platforms.
- Strong interviewing, assessment, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and executives.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple open positions and competing deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to company locations and project sites.
Responsibilities
- Own recruitment activities for assigned departments, markets, and construction-related roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings and develop recruitment strategies.
- Publish and manage job advertisements across relevant channels.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates via phone, video, and in-person interactions.
- Coordinate interview processes, assessments, reference checks, and offer management.
- Manage candidate workflows and data within applicant tracking and HR systems.
- Oversee onboarding activities and employment eligibility verification.
- Provide regular recruitment updates, reporting, and insights to leadership.
