Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications with Ruby on Rails and RSpec.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
- Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience using AI coding tools for efficient development.
- Strong communication skills and an analytical, data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work with high autonomy in a fast-moving, small team environment.
- Nice-to-have: React Native or mobile development experience.
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to GraphQL.
- Nice-to-have: B2B SaaS product experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the AppraisalPRO platform end-to-end, including the Rails backend, dealer-facing web app, and React Native mobile app.
- Lead architectural decisions and set technical direction across the full stack.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the platform's internal API and SDK.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows and translate needs into product features.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain robust backend and frontend features.
- Work closely with product teams to estimate feasibility and timelines for feature delivery.
- Create and manage integrations with third-party APIs and services.
