6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
Experience building scalable, distributed systems and APIs in production environments
Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python, etc.)
Experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as React
Experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, well-tested software
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
Ability to make thoughtful technical decisions and balance short-term needs with long-term maintainability
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams
Curiosity, ownership, and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly

Design, build, and test the APIs and services that power RoadieXD
Develop internal and customer-facing tools, primarily in React, that enable our cross-dock operations to scale efficiently
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve complex logistics challenges and deliver high-impact features
Influence architecture and technical design decisions that improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of the Roadie platform
Write clean, maintainable code backed by automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and modern engineering best practices
Continuously improve existing systems by identifying opportunities to enhance performance, developer experience, and long-term maintainability
