Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with a clear front-end focus.
- Proven experience mentoring software engineers.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and PHP.
- Strong Node.js backend experience, preferably with NestJS.
- Hands-on experience with JWT/OIDC authentication (e.g., Auth0).
- Proven experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases (specifically MongoDB).
- Working knowledge of AWS services: Amplify, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and VPC.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration on AWS ECS.
- Experience building automation using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Strong quality discipline with testing (Jest) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
- Experience integrating headless CMS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of Next.js features such as SSR, SSG, ISR, and image optimization.
- Design and maintain a reusable component library and Storybook.
- Integrate client applications with OpenAPI backends and secure authentication flows.
- Ensure accessibility, unit/integration/e2e test coverage, and high Lighthouse/Web Vitals performance.
- Own CI/CD builds, deployments, and AWS Amplify environment configuration.
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain on-call readiness for client-side reliability.
- Contribute to back-end development tasks as needed.
- Mentor engineers on best practices, design system conventions, and performance engineering.
