Requirements

2+ years of demonstrated expertise in SQL and databases.
Experience in BigQuery and/or Dataform.
2+ years of demonstrated expertise in Google Firebase data and app analytics.
Proven expertise with GA4 or similar large, raw datasets of digital behavior.
2+ years of experience making measurement plans for and QCing tags using Google Tag Manager.
Experience with Looker.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and automated reporting.
Understanding of the full life cycle of data tracking within videos, websites, and apps.
Proven experience working with technical teams in a cross-department collaborative environment.
Ability to initiate work independently with little supervision.
Self-starter with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage measurement plans for NPR's owned and operated platforms using Google Tag Manager and conduct tag QC.
Independently write SQL queries to provide performance analytics across app, video, and website datasets.
Maintain primary relationships with Product stakeholders to support daily analytics needs.
Partner with Data Products to consult on app dashboard and tool design based on stakeholder requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of a sustainable system of self-service app analytics.
Diagnose and resolve data issues and streamline scheduled queries and data infrastructure.
Write technical guides and documentation for app, video, and website analytics.
