Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in SQL and databases.
- Proven expertise in fetching and transforming data using SQL and analytics APIs.
- 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in Google Firebase data and app analytics.
- 5+ years of demonstrated expertise with GA4 or similar large digital behavioral datasets.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Optimizely or a comparable experimentation tool.
- Expert proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and automated reporting.
- Strong data visualization skills and the ability to explain complex quantitative information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience owning data-driven research from project inception to completion.
- Strong stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently learn and integrate new data sources.
- Eagerness to train team members and contribute to a data-driven strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assess audience behavior and advocate for audience needs on the NPR App.
- Manage and own the experimentation process on owned and operated platforms.
- Formulate and analyze experiments, partnering with internal teams to implement results.
- Provide foundational trend reporting and actionable insights for organizational stakeholders.
- Write, implement, and maintain complex SQL queries for performance analytics across app, video, and website datasets.
- Train internal teams on the use of data tools and resources for decision-making.
- Prioritize analytical work based on departmental and organizational strategy.
- Develop research tools and reporting to address evolving business needs.
