Requirements

  • Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in managing or launching complex security IP or embedded products.
  • Proven hands-on experience with embedded firmware integration in hardware security IP.
  • Proven experience in the design, architecture, or implementation of embedded firmware products.
  • Deep knowledge of hardware architectures including Arm, RISC-V, x86, TRNG, and PUF.
  • Strong understanding of physical and logical device vulnerabilities: Side-Channel Attacks (SCA), Differential Power Analysis (DPA), timing attacks, microarchitectural leaks, and fuzz-based exploitation.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard crypto APIs and driver implementation.
  • System architect mindset capable of envisioning end-to-end security integration.
  • Background transitioning from a software designer, system architect, or security architect role into Product Management is welcome.
  • Experience with micro kernel-based architecture (preferred).
  • Experience working with security certification labs like FIPS 140-3 or Common Criteria (preferred).
  • Knowledge of NIST PQC standardization processes (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Work with key customers and ecosystem partners to integrate security solutions into broader system architectures.
  • Define, maintain, and execute the strategic product roadmap for software-based security IPs, cryptographic libraries, and firmware portfolios.
  • Partner with internal architecture teams to analyze complex SoC/system architectures and define clean interfaces.
  • Act as the domain expert for the product’s cryptographic capabilities, balancing classical algorithms with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards.
  • Collaborate with security research and engineering teams to harden firmware against hardware-level and logical attack vectors.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor landscapes to build a differentiated software security portfolio.
  • Author comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and technical specifications for hardware engineering.
  • Measure product performance using data and continuously improve development processes.
