Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of Shopify, including platform architecture, ecosystem capabilities, application integrations, and limitations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience working with complex e-commerce environments involving multiple integrated business systems and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of web performance principles, including Lighthouse metrics, rendering performance, and optimization best practices.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
- Understanding of data privacy, GDPR compliance, and secure data handling.
- Excellent analytical thinking, ownership mindset, and prioritization skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical product expert for Shopify, evaluating implementation requests and determining the most appropriate solution.
- Oversee the operational understanding of the end-to-end e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless integration across systems such as ERP, customer service, subscriptions, analytics, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support operational processes, improve tracking capabilities, and ensure reliable platform performance.
- Drive customer-centric product decisions by balancing technical feasibility, user experience, and business priorities.
- Monitor website performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend improvements through platform capabilities, automation tools, and workflow enhancements.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning by assessing stakeholder requests and focusing development efforts on high-value opportunities.
