Requirements
- Previous intake experience in a legal setting, with a preference for criminal defense.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
- Proven track record in consultative sales, particularly with a focus on one-call closes.
- Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and communication skills to connect with clients in emotional states.
- Ability to follow and adapt scripts to meet the demands of different situations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with consistent productivity and reliability.
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, specifically Saturday through Wednesday or Sunday through Thursday.
- Available to work between 12:00 PM–8:00 PM MDT or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MDT as required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering inbound calls and acting as both the receptionist and salesperson.
- Own the intake process from the initial call through signing, ensuring every lead is maximized for conversion.
- Conduct consultations and guide prospective clients toward hiring the firm using high-level consultative sales skills.
- Perform one-call closes to prevent drop-offs and maximize conversion rates.
- Determine case fit and either close the client or schedule further consultation with an attorney.
- Communicate with and support Spanish-speaking clients to help grow this strategic market segment.
- Schedule consultations on attorney calendars and ensure a smooth transition to the case management team.
- Follow and adapt to firm talk tracks, scripts, and intake workflows.
