Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in People, HR, Talent, or Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Senior leadership experience in performance management, manager coaching, employee relations, and People operations.
  • Demonstrated experience building or maturing People infrastructure in scaling or founder-led organizations.
  • Proven success advising CEOs and executive teams on organizational design and leadership capability.
  • Experience driving the adoption of People programs across managers and leaders.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a lean environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and legal escalation judgment.
  • Experience with HRIS administration, preferably BambooHR.
  • Proficiency in people analytics, reporting, and workforce metrics.
  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, MBA, or I/O Psychology preferred.
  • Experience scaling companies from ~100 to several hundred employees preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen hiring standards, candidate evaluation methods, and recruiting governance.
  • Own and evolve the performance management cycle, including KPI/OKR alignment and manager coaching.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on organizational design, leadership capability, and workforce planning.
  • Build and improve scalable People systems, SOPs, workflows, and communication rhythms.
  • Provide expert judgment on employee relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, and workplace risk management.
  • Lead and mentor a lean People & Culture team across operations, talent acquisition, and L&D.
