Requirements

  • 5+ years of federal technology sales experience supporting the Department of Defense.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Established relationships within the SOF/COCOM community or demonstrated ability to build them.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles (e.g., ITES-4H, NASA SEWP, GSA).
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (primarily to Tampa, FL, Fort Bragg, NC, and Miami/Doral, FL).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, qualification, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close — across the SOCOM, JSOC, JCSE, and SOUTHCOM account portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a territory and account plan that meets or exceeds an assigned annual bookings and revenue quota.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with government decision-makers, including CIOs, CISOs, program managers, contracting officers, and end-user commands.
  • Position portfolio — infrastructure, storage, cybersecurity, cloud, and hyperconverged solutions — to address mission requirements.
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with OEM partners and prime systems integrators to build winning solutions.
  • Navigate DoD procurement and capture activities using appropriate contract vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and account activity in the CRM.
  • Represent the company at industry days, command engagements, trade shows, and partner events.
