Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, primarily in backend systems.
- Strong understanding of data-heavy or integration-flavored systems.
- Experience with modern auth protocols, service principals, and identity federation.
- Ability to reason about deployment topology and architectural trade-offs.
- Experience building on external platforms with potential for incomplete documentation or breaking changes.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity with the ability to ship features under uncertainty.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript to support backend integration tasks.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and coordinate through design docs and RFCs.
- Proven experience collaborating across engineering teams to build trust and align interfaces.
- Familiarity with AI development tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code.
Responsibilities
- Own the full integration lifecycle from design and code to production maintenance.
- Define technical architecture including auth and identity flows, multi-tenancy, and production infrastructure.
- Manage infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment, and observability for your own work.
- Navigate constraints of external platforms and manage trust boundaries effectively.
- Partner with internal teams to define interfaces and maintain project momentum.
- Write design documents, PRs, and RFCs to drive technical decision-making.
