Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role with exposure to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Experience using QuickBooks.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records across accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general financial documentation.
- Review contracts and coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and complete invoicing for billable work.
- Manage daily cash operations, including recording deposits, updating cash receipt records, and posting transactions to accounting systems.
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and respond to customer inquiries related to billing and payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing financial reports, aging analyses, budget-to-actual comparisons, and other accounting documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, predictive financial modeling, pricing analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation, system integration, and process enhancements while ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
