Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience developing production applications with Express.js, including middleware and error handling.
- Strong TypeScript skills for building maintainable and scalable applications.
- Hands-on experience developing Angular applications (version 12 or later).
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles and backend service development.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and collaborative practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and take ownership of technical solutions.
- Experience with streaming APIs, JWT/OAuth/SAML, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Docker, or caching strategies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
- Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular while collaborating with product and design teams.
- Contribute to API architecture to ensure secure, consistent, and maintainable solutions.
- Design database schemas, manage migrations, and optimize query performance using PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making for new features.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code through active participation in code reviews.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the full application stack.
- Implement security practices including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
- Ensure production reliability through monitoring, health checks, and structured logging.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and developers in an agile environment.
