Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production environments.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React is a plus.
- Strong foundation in data modeling and API design.
- Proven ability to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability in production systems.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and external platforms in accounting, commerce, or logistics.
- Pragmatic engineering mindset with a bias toward outcomes and solving real-world problems.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, decomposing fuzzy requirements, and shipping without a complete spec.
- Experience or interest in working directly with customers to turn operational pain points into software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Scope ambiguous customer asks, prototype quickly, and iterate into stable customer deployments using Tailor’s platform.
- Engage with customers alongside Forward Deployed Product Managers to understand needs and iterate on deployments.
- Productize repeatable solutions by turning bespoke implementations into scalable modules for accounting, e-commerce, and logistics.
- Build and ship production-grade features across the stack, including front-end UIs, backend APIs, integrations, and data models.
- Collaborate with the founding team to establish engineering standards, improve developer experience, and shape platform architecture.
