Requirements
- 6+ years of professional design experience with at least 2+ years in a creative leadership, mentorship, or art direction capacity.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first creative work, digital campaigns, and engaging visual storytelling.
- Previous agency experience preferred, with experience supporting consumer brands, lifestyle brands, enterprise organizations, or large-scale clients.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and modern design tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience creating motion design, short-form video content, or multimedia assets.
- Understanding of AI-powered creative tools and how to incorporate AI into content creation workflows.
- Experience developing and presenting creative strategies to senior marketing stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms, audience behavior, and content performance principles.
- Ability to balance creative innovation with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong storytelling, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience mentoring designers and providing constructive creative feedback.
Responsibilities
- Provide creative direction across multiple client accounts, ensuring concepts, designs, motion assets, and campaigns align with audience behavior, platform best practices, and business objectives.
- Review and refine creative deliverables before client presentation, raising the overall quality and consistency of social-first content.
- Develop static, motion, and campaign-based creative assets across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels.
- Mentor and coach designers by providing feedback, guidance, training opportunities, and support for professional growth.
- Establish stronger creative workflows, systems, and standards that improve efficiency and output quality.
- Partner with strategy, account management, community, paid media, production, and leadership teams to translate insights into compelling storytelling.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, content frameworks, pitches, proposals, and new business opportunities.
- Stay current with design trends, creator culture, platform changes, and AI-powered creative technologies to introduce innovative approaches.
- Help shape the future direction of the creative department by identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
