Consumer Reports: Shaping a Fair Marketplace Through Data-Driven Insights For nearly a century, Consumer Reports has been a trusted voice for consumers, providing independent ratings and reviews on a vast array of products and services. As a non-profit organization, we empower consumers to make informed choices by delivering unbiased, evidence-based research and advocacy. Our impact spans multiple industries, driving changes in product safety, environmental sustainability, and equitable consumer practices. We leverage our influence to advocate for positive change, creating a more just and transparent marketplace. Our data-driven approach is at the core of everything we do. We employ a robust tech stack incorporating tools like Microsoft Office Suite (including Access and Excel), SAS, and data visualization software (Tableau, R, Python). We prioritize data-centric product development and decision-making, encouraging collaboration and innovation within our agile engineering teams. While our headquarters are in Yonkers, NY, we embrace a hybrid work model (CRFlex), enabling up to 80% remote work for eligible positions within 75 miles of our main office or New York City. This supports a flexible and inclusive work environment where we value employee well-being and work-life balance. Consumer Reports fosters a culture built on our core values: truth, fairness, and consumer advocacy. We believe in transparent pay and offer comprehensive benefits including medical coverage starting on your first day. Our diverse team is united by a common goal: to create a better future for consumers everywhere. We are proud of our history of achieving significant positive change in the marketplace and remain committed to growing and expanding our impact in the years to come. With a team of 501-1000 employees and a history stretching back to 1936, we offer a unique blend of non-profit mission and cutting-edge data analysis. We continue to be financially stable and adapt to the evolving needs of consumers, consistently expanding our reach and influence.
