Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience in benefits, payroll, and HRIS administration.
- Proven experience administering benefits across different geographies.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local US employment laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA).
- Proficiency with HR and payroll systems.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent business and interpersonal relationship skills.
- High degree of confidentiality and professional discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and large-scale organizational projects.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Experience working for a global NGO preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage global benefits strategy, including benchmarking, plan design, vendor selection, and renewals.
- Oversee benefits administration, including billing, data flows, and employer-sponsored retirement plan contributions.
- Review and determine leave eligibility and advise employees on STD/LTD and state-mandated disability programs.
- Serve as owner/administrator of the HRIS, configuring data architecture and permission structures.
- Maintain HRIS SOPs and workflows to ensure data integrity and process alignment with payroll and finance.
- Manage non-exempt time-tracking and ensure accuracy of bi-weekly payroll reporting.
- Own benefits regulatory compliance and reporting obligations across US jurisdictions.
- Develop dashboards and data insights to support HR management and decision-making.
