Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture).
- Strong experience navigating complex sales cycles and aligning technical and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with modern application development or cloud-native systems.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or SQL).
- Experience designing distributed systems in cloud and hybrid environments with knowledge of scalability, resilience, and security.
- Ability to translate technical architecture into business value for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with hyperscaler partnerships, ISV integrations, AI/ML, or data engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to create technical assets and lead workshops.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing application, data, and AI architectures using MongoDB Atlas.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to partners, sellers, and customers through architecture reviews and modernization strategies.
- Solve complex technical problems requiring deep discovery, solution mapping, demos, and proofs of value.
- Build and refine joint partner offerings, integration patterns, workshops, and reference architectures with hyperscalers and ISVs.
- Create reusable field assets like demos, presentations, and technical guidance to scale MongoDB adoption.
- Advise on AI application patterns including RAG, vector search, and agentic workflows.
- Support field and partner teams with technical objections and implementation guidance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide field feedback and influence product roadmaps.
- Represent MongoDB externally through industry events, workshops, and thought leadership.
