Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years leading product teams or managing product managers.
- Experience owning complex B2B, SaaS, API-based, financial services, fraud prevention, risk management, payments, or banking technology products.
- Strong understanding of check processing, mobile deposit, deposit review workflows, financial institution operations, and check fraud prevention.
- Knowledge of check fraud trends and common fraud typologies (duplicate presentment, altered/counterfeit checks, forged endorsements, account takeover, mule activity, fraud rings).
- Experience building or managing fraud detection, risk scoring, decisioning, analytics, workflow, or intelligence products.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, build roadmaps, prioritize effectively, and drive execution across engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort with product metrics, fraud performance metrics, customer usage data, business cases, and outcome-based reporting.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Check Intelligence business.
- Translate check processing needs, deposit workflows, check fraud trends, customer requirements, regulatory expectations, and market opportunities into clear product requirements and investment priorities.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, fraud experts, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing check intelligence capabilities.
- Lead roadmap planning and prioritization across fraud prevention, deposit decisioning, image quality, risk signals, APIs, analytics, operational tooling, and customer-facing capabilities.
- Manage and coach a team of product managers, helping them improve product discovery, requirements quality, stakeholder management, execution discipline, and business ownership.
- Establish and monitor product KPIs, including fraud detection performance, false positive rates, customer adoption, revenue growth, operational efficiency, deposit completion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, implementation, and support teams to support customer conversations, roadmap alignment, go-to-market readiness, and product adoption.
