Requirements
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in CMS Medicare claims processing (Part A and/or Part B).
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or closely related role in a federal program or regulated healthcare environment.
- Strong, practical command of Excel for complex data formulas, validation, and change tracking.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the handling of PHI/PII.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to translate technical content for diverse audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CMS Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own HIPAA-compliant source-of-truth artifacts, specifically Excel-based business rules, edits, and code sets.
- Maintain version control, change history, and documentation for audit-ready artifacts.
- Act as a subject matter expert on CMS Medicare Part A and Part B claims processing.
- Validate updates to spreadsheets for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with CMS policy.
- Communicate validated changes to external CMS counterparts and internal stakeholders.
- Translate policy and program needs into clear requirements for engineering teams.
- Facilitate information flow between product, engineering, and client teams.
