Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, Benefits, Leave Administration, Payroll, or related administrative role.
  • Direct experience supporting employee benefits or leave of absence programs.
  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and other applicable employment regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience working with third-party leave or benefits administrators (preferred).
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.
  • Manage the initial contact for leave of absence (LOA) and workplace accommodation inquiries.
  • Partner with third-party leave administrators to monitor leave documentation, approvals, and status changes.
  • Coordinate with Payroll to resolve pay issues, benefit deduction discrepancies, and timekeeping questions.
  • Maintain accurate records and process transactions within the HRIS for benefits and leaves.
  • Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and general policy inquiries.
  • Perform audits, reporting, and reconciliation to ensure compliance.
