Requirements

  • Degree/certificate in business administration, non-profit management, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating across departments and with outside vendors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under varying deadlines.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office/365, Asana, and Neon.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including to outdoor settings, and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong commitment to the mission of the Forest Stewards Guild.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable, employee expenses, and reimbursements.
  • Support staff with insurance documentation for organizational programs.
  • Manage state reporting and business license setup as required.
  • Plan logistical support for organizational events and milestone celebrations.
  • Process donations and membership payments and report to accounting staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of multi-state labor laws and update internal employee communications.
  • Execute orientation and onboarding processes for new employees and seasonal crew members.
  • Provide administrative support for Workers' Compensation audits.
