Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical roles such as software or platform engineering, community management, support, or solution engineering.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows and patterns.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in sensitive and complex community situations with empathy, judgment, and tact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for social media, GitHub, and project trackers.
- Proven experience organizing in-person and online events, asynchronous projects, or cross-functional efforts.
- Experience listening for insights in technical conversations and advocating for implementation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity.
- Ready and willing to travel for in-person engagement, including offsites and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Engage in technical conversations about identity and security across social media platforms like LinkedIn, X, and Reddit.
- Build and maintain welcoming spaces for the developer community on platforms like Slack and GitHub.
- Synthesize community feedback into actionable insights and surface these to product teams.
- Create tools and training to enable other employees to engage effectively with the community.
- Develop programs to celebrate and incentivize community members, including code contributions and peer help.
- Maximize impact by reusing technical assets, documentation, and tutorials across various online channels.
