Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active CPA certification required.
  • 7+ years of experience in tax, business management, public accounting, family office, or related environments.
  • Strong expertise in tax compliance and planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts.
  • Experience managing complex financial situations for high-net-worth clients.
  • Familiarity with entertainment, digital talent, sports, or other specialized income streams is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and strategic financial planning.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to advise clients effectively.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a client-focused environment.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns, including multi-state filings.
  • Lead tax planning initiatives, projections, and year-end strategies for high-net-worth individuals and related entities.
  • Research tax regulations, legislative changes, and transaction-related matters to provide informed recommendations.
  • Review financial statements, cash flow projections, and financial reports to support business and personal financial decisions.
  • Assist with asset acquisitions, leasing arrangements, financing activities, escrow coordination, and lender communications.
  • Evaluate insurance coverage and support recommendations to ensure appropriate protection strategies are maintained.
  • Act as a primary advisor alongside leadership, supporting client relationships and participating in strategic discussions.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Support onboarding processes for new clients and contribute to improving internal workflows and operational processes.
  • Provide guidance and oversight across complex financial matters involving multiple income sources and business structures.
