Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of successful SBA loan origination experience.
- Proven ability to generate business through sales, networking, and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), loan eligibility criteria, and lending requirements.
- Experience with loan analysis, financial spreading, and credit underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality SBA loan opportunities through networking and relationship building.
- Promote lending solutions by communicating competitive advantages and value propositions.
- Manage the full loan origination process including lead follow-up, documentation, and customer support.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide activity updates to leadership.
- Apply knowledge of SBA lending guidelines and credit standards to identify suitable opportunities.
- Prepare loan packages, financial spreads, and credit summaries to support underwriting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth loan processing.
- Maintain secure handling of confidential information and ensure regulatory compliance.
