Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience within door hardware, security, electronic access control, construction, or related industrial sectors.
- At least 5 years of leadership or management experience directing teams or leading sales programs.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic sales plans and managing complex account relationships.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong business acumen, consultative selling skills, and experience closing complex commercial opportunities.
- Familiarity with vertical markets such as Education, Healthcare, Government, Commercial Buildings, or Multi-Family housing.
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must reside in the Western United States.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies that increase revenue, market share, and brand awareness across wholesale strategic accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, industrial wholesalers, security professionals, systems integrators, and other key channel partners.
- Create and implement account management plans focused on business growth, customer engagement, product training, field sales initiatives, and market development investments.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to regional business development representatives while influencing cross-functional teams.
- Partner with sales, marketing, training, and business development teams to deliver coordinated customer programs, promotional campaigns, and educational events.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and communicate the value of integrated security and access solutions to customers and stakeholders.
- Identify competitive opportunities, drive solution upgrades, and support customer retention through consultative selling.
- Maintain CRM records, monitor sales performance, and travel throughout the assigned region to support customer relationships.
