Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Operations, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in operations management, manufacturing leadership, or a comparable role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple manufacturing sites or large-scale operational environments.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with demonstrated success managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, operational excellence methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards within manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving business environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with travel requirements of up to 75%.
  • Residency within the greater Buffalo, NY or Fredonia, PA markets is preferred for proximity to assigned facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment in safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance standards.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize plant capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and all applicable regulatory standards across assigned locations.
  • Develop and support high-performing leadership teams by providing coaching, mentoring, and talent development opportunities.
  • Translate annual and monthly business objectives into measurable operational targets and hold teams accountable for results.
  • Oversee production planning activities to balance customer demand, service levels, and cost optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional projects related to customer solutions, capital investments, and operational improvements.
  • Identify, research, and implement manufacturing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Monitor and improve plant financial performance, including productivity metrics, cost controls, and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and corporate leadership to align operational priorities and achieve collective business goals.
