Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise data management, governance, or information management.
- Minimum 5 years supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
- Experience establishing enterprise data governance programs and facilitating governance councils.
- Proficiency in DAMA-DMBOK, metadata management, data cataloging, and master data management.
- Technical experience with AWS cloud services, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Purview, Power BI, and SQL.
- Knowledge of DoD Data Strategy, NIST data management guidance, and Information lifecycle governance.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the enterprise Data Governance Framework for the Security Cooperation platform.
- Identify and establish business and technical data steward roles across Security Cooperation organizations.
- Design and govern taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, ontologies, and metadata standards.
- Define enterprise data quality standards and lead root cause analysis for remediation.
- Coordinate with Knowledge Management teams to support AI-enabled search and repository discoverability.
- Partner with architects to align governance with cloud-native data architectures in AWS.
- Ensure compliance with DoD Data Strategy, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and CUI requirements.
- Facilitate governance workshops and present recommendations to senior government leadership.
