Requirements
- Professional experience leading design for mobile apps across iOS and Android.
- Portfolio showcasing a proven track record of thoughtful, engaging, and usable mobile experiences.
- Knowledge of platform-specific design patterns and conventions for iOS and Android.
- Experience designing for consumers in North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Experience designing with international privacy laws and regulations in mind.
- Experience designing for commerce-based companies with international checkout experiences.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and support design decisions.
- Strong skills in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
- Experience with design programs such as Figma and comfort with prototyping.
- Ability to gather and give feedback using both formal and informal methods.
Responsibilities
- Define interaction and visual design standards for mobile products.
- Design user-centric experiences that balance user needs and business goals, scale well, and translate globally.
- Own and evolve the mobile design system.
- Provide an international design perspective within the product organization.
- Partner with the research team to conduct and analyze user research.
- Work across company teams to build a mature ecosystem for creators and backers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.
