Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record as a Senior Staff or Principal Engineer on consumer-facing mobile or web client applications.
- Deep mastery of modern web architecture (e.g., React, TypeScript, advanced state management).
- Strong architectural command of native mobile paradigms (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin).
- Expertise in solving client-side performance and rendering bottlenecks at scale.
- Experience building interactive features like rich-text editors or real-time state synchronization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence VP-level technical direction.
- Ability to lead large, cross-functional engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the org-wide client architecture strategy for video creation, editing, and uploading.
- Build and scale new contribution formats natively within shared post and comment experiences.
- Serve as the technical anchor for the Contribution engineering team and influence the broader Content Ecosystem organization.
- Translate complex product requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping and system design.
- Engineer performant client infrastructure, including rich-text rendering and state synchronization.
