Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in software development
- Commercial experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Architect
- Excellent knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with REST APIs, messaging solutions (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ), and system integrations
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, scalability, security, and performance optimization
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- German at B2 level or higher
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Design application and system architecture for enterprise-grade products
- Support engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Make architectural decisions balancing business and technical needs
- Identify technical risks and proactively propose improvements
- Participate in technical workshops, solution design, and architecture reviews
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
- Take technical ownership from solution design through implementation to production delivery
- Explore and evaluate new technologies and engineering approaches
