Requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience performing US export commodity jurisdiction and classification assessments (USML and CCL).
- Experience with JCA tools such as OCR, xClass, CommonPDM (cPDM), or Windchill.
- Ability to work with minimal oversight and assist with complex export classifications.
- Strong knowledge of ITAR and EAR compliance policies and procedures.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment requiring strong collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical assessments related to export or import controls.
- Manage small projects and act as a Strategic Business Unit point of contact.
- Provide guidance and influence others on U.S. Export Controls policies, procedures, and classifications.
- Respond to JCA inquiries from USG agencies including DDTC, DTSA, and BIS.
- Coordinate Technical Exchanges with Engineering and Global Trade to resolve complex ITAR/EAR topics.
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure compliant export classification.
- Assist or manage bids, financial planning, resource planning, and Earned Value (EV) metrics.
