Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building, scaling, and maintaining production-ready web applications.
- Strong competency in API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in modern full-stack frameworks, either frontend-focused or backend-focused.
- Proven history of owning technical initiatives end-to-end and navigating engineering tradeoffs.
- Ability to clearly define scope and project estimates.
- Experience improving team dynamics through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring.
- Active proficiency with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
- Understanding of risks associated with AI development tooling.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical application history (preferred).
- Experience in high-growth startup or healthcare tech environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with data-intensive pipelines or system integrations (preferred).
- Exposure to CI/CD, cloud environments, and observability (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver reliable, high-quality product experiences focused on the patient funnel.
- Build and evolve systems behind patient acquisition surfaces, registration flows, and eligibility verification.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to run experiments and iterate on product improvements.
- Own technical projects end-to-end, including mapping scope, identifying tradeoffs, and managing project risks.
- Mentor junior engineers and improve team dynamics through code reviews, pairing, and documentation.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate velocity while managing technical risk.
