Requirements
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as an engineer building backend applications as part of a cross-functional team.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
- 2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
- 2+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
- Proficiency in backend languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience working with data ingestion systems and large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and systems handling sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
- Maintain, improve, and expand web applications and data pipelines.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers through pull request reviews and constructive feedback.
- Design and execute secure, maintainable, and stable technical solutions.
