Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public sector customer success, government sales, procurement consulting, or a related field.
  • Deep familiarity with public procurement practices, including agency budgeting, planning, and platform decision-making.
  • Strong presence and peer-level credibility within the public procurement community.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the Colorado Front Range.
  • Must be based in Colorado.
  • Experience with cooperative purchasing organizations and inter-agency influence dynamics.
  • NIGP-CPP certification or active pursuit thereof is a plus.
  • Existing relationships within the RMGPA membership preferred.
  • Experience with e-procurement, marketplace, or sourcing platforms in a public sector context is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with high-volume Colorado agency accounts through value-reinforcing conversations.
  • Participate in the Rocky Mountain Governmental Purchasing Association (RMGPA) through event attendance and committee or board contribution.
  • Monitor agency solicitation activity and platform health to provide actionable insights to internal teams.
  • Drive digital adoption of online response capabilities among public agencies.
  • Execute renewals and identify growth opportunities for paid agency accounts.
  • Maintain a structured engagement map of the Colorado agency network, including budget calendars and procurement cycles.
