Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in field project management, installation, or technical supervision roles.
- Education through a college degree, trade school program, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience working with electronic security systems, fire alarm and life safety systems, building automation systems, or related technical industries is preferred.
- Strong field supervision skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify effective solutions.
- Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude, including experience using hand and power tools and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain accountability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to regularly visit job sites, with minimal overnight travel required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall execution of assigned projects, ensuring successful completion within contractual scope, budget, quality standards, and scheduled timelines.
- Coordinate with project coordinators and internal teams to develop installation plans, establish procedures, and maintain effective project workflows.
- Supervise field specialists, installers, and subcontractors, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure strong performance and project success.
- Oversee on-site activities, verify quality standards, and ensure installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, and organizational requirements.
- Install, program, test, troubleshoot, repair, and service a range of systems, including security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation solutions.
- Identify potential project risks, communicate issues to relevant stakeholders, and support the implementation of solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Provide technical support and customer training while acting as a key point of contact to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Recommend improvements to project processes and contribute to continuous operational and service enhancements.
