Requirements
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline; MBA or PhD preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior executive responsibility across Latin America.
- Demonstrated experience working in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or public health.
- Proven experience managing P&L responsibilities and leading complex, multi-country operations.
- Strong understanding of Latin American regulatory frameworks, healthcare systems, and regional market dynamics.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, with advanced Spanish proficiency required.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including strategic thinking, executive presence, stakeholder influence, and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Ability to travel approximately 30–40% across the region.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional strategy for Latin America, ensuring alignment with global objectives, public health priorities, and long-term growth goals.
- Identify opportunities to expand adoption of scientific standards, programs, services, and strategic partnerships throughout the region.
- Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on regional opportunities, risks, market trends, and policy developments.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with regulatory authorities, government institutions, healthcare organizations, and industry partners.
- Manage regional financial performance, including revenue growth, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee operational execution, ensuring compliance, quality systems, risk management, and effective coordination across teams.
- Lead and develop diverse, high-performing teams across multiple countries.
- Act as a regional spokesperson, strengthening reputation, trust, and stakeholder engagement across Latin America.
