Requirements
- Proven experience with search engine optimization.
- Experience managing Google AdWords accounts (preferably AdWords certified).
- Project management experience and certifications preferred.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Basecamp, MS Project, Visio, and Salesforce.
- Understanding of web development, with an ability to write HTML, CSS, or PHP preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills.
- Solid understanding of project management methodology, including risk management and resource allocation.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with teams of three or more people (preferred).
- Experience with WordPress and/or Magento (preferred).
- Reliable workstation including a fast computer, microphone, speakers, reliable internet, and power.
Responsibilities
- Manage the workload of the SEO team, including assigning tasks, following up on progress, and ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Create and execute project work plans, revising them as needed to meet evolving project requirements.
- Participate in client meetings as necessary.
- Develop training materials, improve internal work processes, and address identified operational concerns.
- Research and develop new online marketing methodologies.
- Identify necessary resources and assign individual project responsibilities.
- Review deliverables prepared by the team before they are passed to Digital Producers.
- Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to the team.
