Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management or technology implementation.
  • Proven experience leading multiple complex technology deployment projects involving enterprise infrastructure or managed services.
  • Hands-on implementation experience with one or more technologies such as DWDM, transport networks, MPLS, SD-WAN, managed services, voice solutions, security, Meraki, or related networking technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, scheduling, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively with cross-functional and customer-facing teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
  • Six or more years of project management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex implementation projects from initiation through successful completion.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, strong stakeholder engagement, and a positive customer experience.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, executive status reports, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews to maintain visibility and project alignment.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and required resources to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and monitor progress to ensure commitments are met.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while managing scope changes through established change control processes.
  • Establish project objectives, key performance indicators, governance standards, and best practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Make informed business decisions that support project success, customer satisfaction, and operational performance, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Identify potential business development opportunities during project delivery and collaborate with sales teams to support future growth.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement across project management processes and methodologies.
