Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
- Proven track record of success in sales, developing and executing successful sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with healthcare benefits brokers, consultants, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable of healthcare plan administration and/or self-funded plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Must be based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect for new business with brokers and employers through cold calls, email campaigns, and social media.
- Schedule and conduct presentations to introduce the Valenz platform and tailor proposals to prospect needs.
- Maintain up-to-date records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with account management, operations, and product development teams to meet client needs.
- Monitor implementation of services through completion and ensure necessary legal documentation is filed.
- Attend industry events and tradeshows to network and generate new business.
