Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline; or 7+ years of relevant experience in installation, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, including resource allocation and strategic planning.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in mission-critical or commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies for workflow optimization.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective oral and written communication skills for technical and client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles for business travel.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically (75% during initial 6-9 months).
- Ability to follow all site safety and security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage pre-construction project initiation, RFI tracking, and submittals.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and resource forecasting.
- Coordinate and perform QA/QC and functional testing of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Monitor project financials, including budgets, profitability, margins, and change orders.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings and maintain active client communication.
- Prepare project progress reports and final commissioning reports for clients.
- Perform on-site validation, troubleshooting, and factory witness testing.
- Develop commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance test scripts.
