Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline, or 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Minimum eight years of experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, or electrical infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of industry trends, project management, and construction procedures for mission-critical facilities.
- Strong understanding of business management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and develop actionable plans.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Effective oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distraction-free environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles.
- Ability to travel (initially up to 75%, transitioning to 25%).
- Must be located near a major US airport.
Responsibilities
- Manage project initiation, kickoff, RFI management, and submittal processes.
- Develop and monitor project schedules and resource forecasting.
- Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among owners, designers, and contractors.
- Perform QA/QC and ensure compliance with commissioning plans and specifications.
- Monitor project financials, including budgets, profitability, margins, and change orders.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and lead business development efforts with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct on-site inspections, functional testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment.
