Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Partner Manager, Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Account Manager at a technology or media company.
- Expertise in managing a high-volume portfolio of partners and meeting Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and growth goals.
- Experience working with Global System Integrator/System Integrator organizations.
- Proven experience communicating and negotiating with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication skills, including presenting to C-level executives in person or virtually.
- Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem and third-party tools utilized by agencies.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for partner events.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changes in the competitive landscape.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Automattic products through partner channels with digital agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Premier partners through their entire lifecycle.
- Develop and execute high-impact strategies for partner retention, net revenue retention, and growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping agencies build strong WordPress VIP business practices and scale growth.
- Provide training and support to partners on Automattic products, services, and value propositions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, and Product.
- Attend and support flagship WordCamps and participate in partner events to drive lead generation.
