Requirements
- Active U.S. Federal security clearance (Secret or higher).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems, Network, or Cloud Engineer/Administrator.
- At least 3 years of experience as a consultant or technical instructor in client-facing engagements.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions with Elasticsearch or similar distributed technologies.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
- Programming experience with at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with SQL, Redis, MongoDB, or similar NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with information retrieval and analytics domains.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and oversee Elastic consulting engagements to maximize customer value.
- Architect, implement, and configure Elastic solutions, focusing on platform architecture and capacity planning.
- Build strong relationships as a customer advocate and ensure effective communication.
- Develop and present demos and proof-of-concepts showcasing Elastic Stack value.
- Conduct data modeling, query development, and cluster tuning for high-performance analytics.
- Review and approve technical consulting reports.
- Mentor and coach consultants through enablement programs and training.
- Participate in technical interviews to onboard new consultants.
