Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with ExtraHop Reveal(x) or Reveal(x) 360 in production environments or similar NDR solutions.
- Experience deploying and administering ExtraHop Reveal(x) Enterprise or Reveal(x) 360.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and tuning ExtraHop sensors, recordstores, and packetstores.
- Strong grasp of wire data analysis, including L2-L7 protocol behavior and TLS/SSL decryption.
- Experience building custom detections, bundles, and dashboards.
- Proficient in JavaScript and Python scripting for automation and customization.
- Working knowledge of at least one major SIEM such as Splunk, XSIAM, or CrowdStrike.
- Experience with proactive threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
- Understanding of network security, cloud environments, and Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- ExtraHop certification (ECS) or relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CYSA, CEH, Security+) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy ExtraHop sensor architectures across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Configure and design packetstores for retention, performance, and compliance requirements.
- Create custom detections and dashboards in Reveal(x) to map to SOC workflows.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations between ExtraHop and SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, and CMDB platforms.
- Conduct network visibility assessments to identify blind spots and segmentation gaps.
- Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex ExtraHop issues.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project documentation.
