Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Strong background in quality assurance, software testing, test management, and delivery oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence teams and achieve outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as JAWS, Selenium, or RestAssured is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries and Oracle database environments is a plus.
  • Experience with JIRA, JIRA X-Ray plugin, and Confluence is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal government technology programs, Salesforce, AWS solutions, or Department of Veterans Affairs environments is advantageous.
  • Existing Public Trust clearance with a federal agency is preferred.
  • Understanding of mortgage industry processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance activities across programs, ensuring testing teams deliver complete, accurate, and client-ready work products.
  • Define testing standards, methodologies, and best practices while mentoring testers and supporting team development.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, tracking, and reporting to ensure successful delivery against project objectives.
  • Analyze test progress, defect status, and quality metrics to provide go/no-go recommendations and informed project decisions.
  • Coordinate test activities, work plans, responsibilities, and schedules across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary communication point between testing teams, internal groups, and external partners.
  • Manage test tools, test development activities, and configuration management processes.
  • Identify process improvements, recommend corrective actions, and drive implementation through collaboration and consensus.
