Requirements

  • Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology.
  • Experience working with U.S. public sector or federal customers is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using GitLab.
  • Familiarity with modern software development and operations practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms in security-conscious or regulated environments.
  • Ability to articulate the business or mission value of technical solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for leading customer meetings and demos.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in continuous learning and mentoring in areas such as AI, DevSecOps, and GitLab.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with public sector customers via onsite and remote visits to provide technical expertise through demos, presentations, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute account strategies for government environments.
  • Manage the technical evaluation process, including the delivery of proofs of concept (POC) and proofs of value (POV).
  • Create Customer Success Plans to ensure technical success and seamless handoff for deployment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Advocate for customer needs by providing feedback to Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • Conduct Value Stream Assessments to identify software delivery improvements.
  • Mentor other Solutions Architects and contribute to team knowledge sharing and technical documentation.
