Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical communications, agency account management, or related client-facing roles
  • Advanced doctoral-level degree (e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of 3 years experience
  • Experience working directly with pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to strategic discussions
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as day-to-day client contact on assigned accounts, in partnership with senior account leadership
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business goals, challenges, and strategic priorities
  • Help translate client vision into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to annual strategic and tactical plans, brand plans, and project-level planning
  • Support scoping of work, development of budgets, and ongoing management of account finances
  • Monitor budgets and team efficiency to ensure work is delivered within scope
  • Partner with program management to develop project briefs and lead or support kickoff meetings
  • Participate in, and at times lead, client meetings, status calls, and planning calls with healthcare professionals
