Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical communications, agency account management, or related client-facing roles
- Advanced doctoral-level degree (e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of 3 years experience
- Experience working directly with pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to strategic discussions
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day client contact on assigned accounts, in partnership with senior account leadership
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business goals, challenges, and strategic priorities
- Help translate client vision into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables
- Contribute to annual strategic and tactical plans, brand plans, and project-level planning
- Support scoping of work, development of budgets, and ongoing management of account finances
- Monitor budgets and team efficiency to ensure work is delivered within scope
- Partner with program management to develop project briefs and lead or support kickoff meetings
- Participate in, and at times lead, client meetings, status calls, and planning calls with healthcare professionals
